Going on a family camping trip or taking the scouts out? The 2014 Lexus can manage off road with a powerful V8 engine and towing capability.

One of our favorite luxury items is the Lexus Remote Touch interface infotainment system. It' a cross between a mouse on your computer and a joystick for a gaming systems that lets you navigate your information and entertainment while in the drivers seat.

Leather interior with smooth lines and wood details adds to the luxury a mom has earned. Isn't that steering wheel just pretty. The wood is my favorite.
Luxury options include headlight washers. You ask yourself do you really need headlight washers? Yes, you do. Why? because when it's late at night and there is a heavy snow or a wet muddy night you will not believe how much it those little washers do to make visibility so much better.
Another visibility feature we like is the rain-sensing wipers. One time I was driving in the snow in Vermont and a big truck coming the other direction covered our vehicle in wet slushy snow. I couldn't see anything and was heading towards a sharp curve. Though they are handy during any rain or snow storm this is when you need the rain-sensing wipers.

The 2014 Lexus GX460 is our favorite 2014 Sweet Ride second only to the 2014 Lexus LS460.

Lexus RX 350 F-Sport * Sweet Rides 2014 * Luxury for Mom

The 2014 Lexus RX 350 F-Sport is the luxury vehicle for moms and families. This luxury cross over 5 passenger SUV impresses from it's roomy interior to it's great gas mileage to it's easy handling. The Lexus 350 F-Sport is the winner in our books. It's exceptionally well-equipped with an upscale feel.

The intuitive technology in the drivers seat allow you the driver to focus on the road and the kids. At a simple touch within reach change a song when the kids get in the car or check the navigation system to get to that play date. Optional rear seat entertainment system and premium surround sound will keep your toddler singing along to Disney's Frozen while waiting in the car pool line.

For mom the Lexus Enform App Suite with Bing, iHeartRadio, MovieTickets.com, OpenTable, Pandora, Yelp and Facebook Places serves as a great big life saver for last minute planning, finding a favorite radio station, searching for the last minute science fair project supplies on the go or using OpenTable make reservations for date night.

Let's talk about the premium package options. I LOVE the perforated leather-trimmed interior that allows a gentle cool breeze on your back on those hot hot days. The seats are heated and cooled. This alone is enough for the premium package.

 

The power-folding electrochromic (auto-dimming) heated outside mirrors mean two things, you will not be trying to use the side of your window scraper to get the frost and ice off the mirrors so you can get the kids to school and off to work. Second, you won't have to worry about someone taking off (hitting) one of your mirror in the parking lot. Yes, this has happened to me more than once.

The seats adjust for the most comfortable ride. The seat lowers and rises to leave head room for tall and rises for the small. Your legs will reach for almost every length. A seat that fits in comfort and range that will keep you comfortable for the long road trip weekends.
