The Allison Inn and Spa in Newberg, Oregon defines luxury travel accommodations. The Allison is situated on 35 hillside acres with views of the Willamette Valley. When I first entered my lovely room at The Allison I was overwhelmed with luxury at every turn. The bathrooms are beautiful with large soaking tubs, a fire place is in every room, a cozy window seat to the enjoy the stunning view and either a personal terrace or balcony. I used the balcony for a moment of peace to breath in the fresh clean air. The king room feels like a suite complete with fluffy down comforter and pillows. The room including the furnishings make you feel like you are in a custom luxury bedroom.
One element that makes a top notch luxury hotel is that they won't nickle and dime you over the little details. The Allison is the best of the best when it comes to the details. Each room comes with complimentary use of the swimming pool, whirlpool, fitness studio, sauna & steam rooms, good morning coffee service in the lobby, valet & overnight parking and a welcome snack basket.

Another tell of a really good luxury hotel is the quality of their room service. The Jory in hotel restaurant serves amazing local fresh food with a killer menu. When I first arrived at the hotel I could smell the sweet fruit wood burning in the kitchen oven and I knew it was going to be good. The Jory also prepares the in-room service. The room service menu is delicious. The food quality remains the same for in-room as it does in the restaurant  It will not disappoint. The fine cheeses, house made charcuterie and fine local wines are top notch mouth watering goodness. Spa treatments and luxury go hand in hand in my option and are a must for a relaxing trip. The Allison Spa has taken efforts to find the highest quality products for their spa services including doTerra pure essential oils for aromatherapy. Some of my favorite spa treatments are the in-room treatments including the fireside massage and fireside pedicure.  How does a Mimosa Manicure and a Pinot Pedicure sound or a Divine Wine Facial?
