The Spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge * Travel

Set in the stunning Green Mountains of Vermont, The Spa at Stowe Mountain Lodge is a relaxing retreat in the lush green of trees, moss and ferns.

Arrive early or prepare to stay longer when visiting The Spa. All treatments include the use of the swimming pool, hot tub and the ritual room. The ritual room includes a spa, vichy shower with pink Himalayan salt scrub, steam room, sauna and relaxing cabanas. It's located in the women's dressing room and clothing is optional.

While waiting for your treatment you can relax with a tea or water in a chase lounge and cozy blanket with a view of the mountain side.

I arrived with my daughter for the Rejuvenating Foot Ritual, a much needed treat after a long hike earlier in the day. Our treatments started with relaxing aromatherapy and pressure point massage. Then, our calves were wrapped in an herbal wrap. The rest of the time we enjoyed a deep reflexology message that kneaded out the knots and tension in our feet. As seasoned spa visitor this is the first time I have ever had this type of spa treatment and I would highly recommend it to anyone. It would also be a great treatment to a first timer at the spa. I would get one weekly if I lived in Stowe. It is a must try.
